Mitch Butler specializes in non-fiction animation that explains science and technology.  He has produced animation for documentary, entertainment, news and advertising.  Clients PBS, Science Channel, CBS News, ABC News, Discovery Channel and many advertising agencies. Mitch works in a variety of 3D and 2D animation styles.

Along the way Mitch also became a national network news reporter for shows like CBS News Sunday Morning, and the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.  As an on-camera correspondent, Mitch covered science and technology topics, also using his animation skills to explain and diagram the news of the day.

Mitch has taught graduate courses in animation and storytelling at NYU, Parsons School of Design and the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
